Orthodox and Reformed Scrum, a Retrospective

I have recently been doing a lot of Scrum process at work. Enough to make me feel entitled to critique it1. I figure that so long as we’re being assessed on our implementation of the Scrum process, I should be able to assess Scrum on its implementation of a software process. Note that I have already discussed the term “user story”. So I’m going to try something different today, and actually discuss salient conceptual points. Eventually.

Paltry PC Ports

I got a new game recently. It inspired me to rant about porting console games to PC. I used to think that it should happen more often, but I’m no longer convinced that game developers are competent enough to turn even a good console game into a quality PC port.
